Thinking about getting a pair of capri tights, but I need some approval first. Can I get some?

You need to be fast to pull these off:
<16 5k
<33 10k
<1:13 HM
<2:35 Full
Otherwise you may as well get them in pink.
Oh, buuuuuuuuuurn.
How about 0:18.07 for the 100m up a hill?
I just want them for my longer runs though. Full black tights for sprints!
Don't do it. Just get full tights
I have full tights. I guess I can just pull them up a bit.
My shins sweat a lot.

???
The layman's definition - The front part of the lower leg below the knee and above the ankle that faces forward towards the toes.
Sweaty shins. Go with a skort.
What's that? Do you wear a skort?
You have my approval. they're just long enough to cover your knees and keep your knees warm. For some reason they're considered more of a woman's thing. Not sure why.
If you're as cool as me you can go for the black 3/4 tights with white compression socks combo.
3/4 >> half >> long
Thanks for the idea! I just may do that. Do those comp socks go over the tights?
black over black... how much of a chick magnet do you need to be?
Black capris and black comp socks? Are you making fun of me?
Not mocking... it's what I wear on occasion .... black new balance over black 2xu's. White would be hard to keep clean on these dusty backroads. Neighbors are few and far between out here, and I really don't give a rip what their opinion would be.
True. I have black something-or-other full tights. I guess I'm just going to stick with them and find something important to worry about. Like, "Why are they deleting all the Dane D'berg threads?"
gent's they're called "knickers" capri's are for girls.
Sure. Next thing you'll be telling me is it's a "belly bag" or "hip sack" and not a "fanny pack".
#1. have you ever met Dane?
#2. I was a bit nebulous about the capri's. Bought them on a whim at NYCM expo last fall. There's 2 things I have done in the last year that has turned heads, and neither one has anything remotely to do with winning the 60-64 age group at several local races. A; worn those capri's running around Green Bay, Madison, and the like. B; Riding a pimped out, full carbon frame Pinarello bike.
My wife was the one that picked up on the chick magnet thing.
Best wishes with all your apparel choices, don't be afraid to strike a new tack.

Like I said, my shins sweat so I'm trying to determine if I can handle them from an image perspective. I think I can pull them off, I'm just starting to think I may not need to.
