I'm looking for a grad student interested in getting started in college coaching at Minot State in ND.
The position will work with sprinters and jumpers, although competitive experience in any event will do. Requires willingness to learn and develop own developmental philosophy and an excitment for the sport. This is a true coaching spot, not just a stopwatch holder or water boy.
Facilities are great (2-lane 240m Mondo indoor track, 6-lane 180m indoortrack,400m all-weather outdoor track, indoor pool, weight center); athletes are talented (10.4 local freshman, 10.7 soph, junior 7th in national 55m, ND Class B 100 champ)
Compensation is modest with 50% grad tuition (half time) and $3000.
