I've heard that Nike shoes are the worst shoes to wear for training? Is this true?

Yes. Nike shoes are awful, and their continued existence as a shoe company is a total mystery to me and many industry experts.
No worse than the other clunky high heeled trainers marketed to the masses.
Or is training bad for nike shoes...
Yes, I think the general consensus is that Nike trainers are terrible shoes. I wore one pair in high school and will never again wear Nike for everyday training.
They still do, however, make the best track spikes out of any shoe company.
I like some of their shoes. They seem much less focused on motion control shoes than other companies, for whatever reason, and their shoes generally last a long time.
nike makes terrific trainers.
Yes. They are bad and will injure you even if you just look at them. You're a runner obviously.
Did Steve Coe train in Nikes?
Stay away from them at all costs. I got to attacked by a bear while wearing a pair of nike trainers.
Hmm - I bought a pair of the "minimal/"low drop" Saucony Mirage this summer and was able to get 330 miles out of them before they completely fell apart. Not good, considering the Nike Pegasus I also ran in this summer made it nearly 700 miles before they became unbearable to run in.
Suck it you trendy haters. Go jerk off into your Asics.
The nike pegasus is a great trainer.

Exactly...they cause foot cancer too...
A somewhat serious response here.
Nike trainers often get a lot of bad publicity, but they have really improved some of their models like the pegasus and vomero.
I love the people that automatically dismiss them because of stories they heard from other people. I know one person who wont try nike shoes because he heard from his high school coach that they "cause injuries".
Many talented and hard working runners wear nike and many dont, it all comes down to what works best for you.
it depends... some of their trainers are pretty good, others very bad. it all depends. if you go to walmart and buy some nikes, they are probably pieces of shit. if you got to a running specialty store and they fit you for a pair of nikes, they are probably pretty good. but it all depends on who you are and where you get them from. if they cost $30, you'll probably get $30 worth of shoe from them. if you pay $130, you will probably get $130 worth of them.
^uhhhhhh Walmart definitely doesn't carry Nike's.

walmart carries coffins, if you dont believe me go onto their website and look it up. better yet, I'll even give you the link so you dont have to watse time
http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=casketI'm pretty sure that if walmart carries and sells coffins, then they most likely carry and sell some form of nike running shoes in one of their stores somewhere
Nike must be doing something right, considering they had the most medalists at world championships...
No, they do not sell Nike running shoes in any of their stores. Why is that hard for you to believe?

Yes he did. And Sebastian Ovett and the Cram guy too.
