Anyone try running in compression shorts in really hot weather (85deg +)? Do they soaked in sweat as much as regular shorts? Been running in really hot weather these days and even short shorts are dripping in sweat at the end of a run.

Yes, I run in compression shorts beneath my short shorts. I find it too loose and uncomfortable to run in just shorts.
Anyway, by the end of a solid run the compression shorts are pretty damp and I find the top of my short shorts are damn wet due to all the sweat running/dripping down my body.
I'm not sure if it really makes much difference as to how wet your short shorts get, how much you sweat, etc. I guess I haven't noticed because I always wear them.
I bike in bike shorts in Florida. They still get drenched, but they don't get in the way like soaked running shorts. I would also imagine that you would chafe less when running.
