Should be for most people. Twenty years ago these would have been marketed as lightweight trainers, not racing shoes.
depends how much you heel strike. Land directly on your heel and that shoe wont last long. Mid-foot strike and it becomes a great training shoe
I "train" in the Adios and love it. It works for me at 145 lbs., high arch, neutral/mid striker, half asphalt-half dirt runs up to 10 miles. But if you're a big guy and heel strike, you might prefer something like the Boston 2. I just received a pair the other day but they feel too high off the ground and too much heel for me and so I'm returning them. But for a heel striker or bigger guy, they might work great.
