what is this... i can't even
super nice run. kid has guts.
he passed the WHOLE field! what could he have run if he was with the leaders AND had that speed to get away?? WR!!!
nice thread title. adds to the surprise.
1 Robby Andrews SO Virginia 1:44.71
2 Charles Jock JR UC Irvine 1:44.75
3 Elijah Greer SO Oregon 1:45.06
4 Casimir Loxsom SO Penn State 1:45.31
5 Edward Kemboi FR Iowa State 1:46.82
6 Cory Primm SR UCLA 1:47.01
7 Willie Brown SO Akron 1:47.02
8 Ryan Martin JR UC Santa Barbara 1:47.62
Greer ran so smart( or got lucky) to force Andrews wide at the bottom of the home straight, which meant Andrews had to run like 215 meteres instead of 200m for the last half lap and he stilled passed the entire field.
Kid is so good.
Great race! Strong finish by Andrews but gotta give it up to Jock...49.8 and finishes 2nd in 1:44:75. Awesome!
did martin and primm peak too soon? they had two of the best season times coming up, but they seemed way off here.
andrews might make usatfs interesting.
can't wait to see most of these guys return next year.
1:44.56 > 1:44.71. That's all I'm saying.
Stadium record for Andrews. 1/100th off the NCAA meet record.
What an incredible race! Every time he starts out in last I think there's no way he can come back, but he shocks me every time.
Robby was incredible. NJ represent.

Robby ran an extra meter, maybe two. Stop exerragerating. And Greer ran like an ass at the finish, cutting right in front of Loxsom who was lucky not to go down.
How old is Wheating? How old is Andrews. That's all I'm saying.

How long has Andrews been running and how long has Wheating been running?

Andrews veered in and cut off Greer, that's why Greer moved in himself. No big deal since it didn't affect the order of finish.
When Andrews got around Greer he drifted to the inside and cut him off, causing Greer to break stride and stumble a bit around meters out. Andrews still would've won and Greer still would've placed third, but a 1:44.99 PB would've sounded a lot sweeter to the Duck.
Great run by all. Andrews ran a classic Dave Wottle race.
I didn't go to high school with them, how should I know?
