Numerous turnovers, offensive fouls and the goofiest befuddled look on his face most the game. Wade and Bosh should be pissed...yet he's still the self appointed king.

Triple doubles arent good enough for the haters i guess. I hope you feel better because Lebrons supporting cast coulndt keep up.

It doesn't matter if he had a quadruple double, he scored 2 in the 4th. He's scored a total of 11 points in the 4th period in 5 games. Not very Jordan-esque.
Not to be a hater but Lebron has no post up game, can't be effective without the basketball in his hands, and is not a very good closer. Scoring 2 points in the fourth quarter for four straight games is not GOAT caliber, especially in the nba finals. This is the time where he is suppose to shine. To his credit the triple double was good but what does that mean now that they are down 3-2.
I don't think wade and lebron can play on the same team. The only reason lebron scored tonight is because wade was out. This isn't the olympics where all it takes is a stacked team to win. 1-2 free throws, 8-19 shooting, 0-4 3 pointers isn't going to cut it. I still think miami will win and although I respect dirk I hate that little bitch jason terry.
Here's an idea--maybe the Mavs are better than the Heat.
I personally feel that Lebron simply does not have as much endurance as Jordan, Iverson, Kobe, etc. He wants to be the guy who plays 48 minutes per game in the playoffs, but he is just too damn big. I suspect the problem is that he is exhausted and can barely lift his arms or think straight. After the playoffs, I think he needs to do summer of malmo and lose about 10 pounds. That should solve the problem.
Lebron is actually very mechanical, he cant twist and turn in tight spots to get his shot off. He also has no post up game. Jordan, Kobe had that turn around fade away that was effective in crunch time. His handle is also not on par with some of the great ones, he relies on taking one or two dribbles and powereing to the basket, but when the Defense is really tough, he's not going to get that running start.
Lebron James will never win an NBA Championship due to his conceited holier-than-thou attitude and the bad karma that acquired by abandoning his home town in a time of need.
This is only the 2nd time in my life that I have ever cheered for a Texas sports team (TCU in this years Rose Bowl being the 1st), but I am happy to cheer for the Mavs!!!! GO MAVS!!!!
James only took 4 shots in the 4th quarter.
They are not setting plays for him and he is not creating his own plays.
The assists were useful but it was not like he was driving and dishing, he simply passed from the perimeter to a shooter in the perimeter mostly.
Where is the guy from the Boston and Chicago series who was scoring 80% of his team's points in the last 5 minutes of games?
Lebron had a nice overall game, but no real effect on pushing the team. I usually never judge athletes by thier expression, but last 2 game LeBron has looked very odd to me. He definitely looks like he's "freezing". The look on his face looks like someone experiencing real anxiety. I never would have thought that, but it looks He's just frozen with fear. I love Lebron as an athlete, but I never expected this.
Lebron should retire.
His girlfriend has supposedly been sleeping (or recently slept with) Rashard Lewis of the Orlando Magic- google it. Last playoffs it was Delonte West and Gloria James leading to a complete falling apart in the last games of the series. This year it might be the same thing- man can't keep his women honest.
Go Mavaliers!

This ^ is right.
I find it downright hilarious that folks were comparing Lebron to Jordan just a week ago. Jordan never, EVER disappeared in the fourth quarter of a playoff game.

I agree with you. It's funny how the Heat are using Lebron to chase around the smallest, quickest guy on the other team and also playing him 40+ minutes every night. He was marking Barea for most of last night! It's no wonder he doesn't have much in the tank in the fourth. Not that I care, since I am rooting for the Mavs.
And yes, a summer of Malmo would do him wonders.

Okay, then what happened with that triple-single that he logged in game 4?!? Both Kobe and MJ have had poor performances in the NBA Finals, but they didn't completely disappear the way that LeBron did in that game. He has a long way to go before he genuinely deserves to be compared to either one of them!
If the Mavs go on to win the title, LeBron's horrendous performance in game 4 will probably be viewed as the turning point of the series.
I asked LeBum James for a dollar, he only gave me 75 cents and said sorry I don't have a 4th Quarter!
But seriously, James has 11 (eleven!) fourth-quarter points in these 5 NBA Finals games. That is putrid.

As a Mavs fan, I'm very worried about this endurance theory which I'm re-naming as "the LetsRun.com Theory For The NBA Finals."
Are my beloved Mavs now screwed for game 6? In games where Lebron has more than 1 days rest, the heat are 2-0 in the finals as Game 1 had a big break and Game 3 had two nights off before it as it was last Sunday.
Game six is similarly this Sunday.
Rest is huge. I mean there was a stat after like Game 3 that when Dirk was not in the Mavs were -30 for 20 minutes of play meaning they'd lose a 48 minute game without Dirk by 72 points.
When he goes out, they really struggle but the coach rests him every time as I guess he figures Dirk has to be key at the end of the 4th. I mean it almost killed me last night when he wasn't in and we were shooting like 65% and still behind after Q1.
You have to hope that they continue to use Lebron to mark Barea, I think that has more to do with Lebron getting tired than how many days off he has between games. The Heat are expecting Lebron to run around screens on D, keep up with the Mavs' fastest player, get back when the Mavs have a fast break, handle the ball, rebound on both ends, and drive to the basket for 45 minutes. I don't think he can do all of that every night, and I think he's starting to wear down since he's been trying to do it the whole playoffs. When he was with the Cavs, they let him be a ball hawk on defense so he could rest a bit.
Go Mavs!
