Did you see that he's also entered in the 2 mile ? Basically he just hasn't decided which one he'll do yet.
Tim Nelson is listed as a pacer not really the same as "in the race"
It said blank page when I clicked on it, but if they are racing in the 10k than this just proves that Nike/other shoe companies? are making them run the 10k or telling them that they will take a pay cut if they don't. The other possibility was that Rupp entering the 10k had a spiral effect causing the others to enter.
Salazar and Schumacher have probably planned this for weeks now, but just decided to take the rest of us for a ride.
You know.? wrote:

Take us for a ride or avoid the flameback if they pulled out?
Predictions?
I'll go for Farah under Browns UK record of 27:18 and Rupp also under that time threatening his pr
Bit early in track season but sometimes that's when you do you best. They are going to be trying for sub 27 and both have the ability
what has Rupp done recently - ha ran well indoor last winter
but that's a while ago. Why did MO run a 10K last week? Tune-up race?
29.06 - tempo run for £££££££
interesting that tim nelson has a 5k personal best of 13:20 and is being asked to get the runners to the 5k in 13:18, nelson must be in his best shape ever.
Believe me when I say that there is no way Salazar and Schumacher plan anything together. Jerry is so paranoid and secretive that it's a schock to EVERYONE (including Salazzaar).
Jerry has the most track talent by far; why always playing games with the rest of th Americans. They should be figuring out how to sneak up on the Africans.
For your information it is not early in the track season.
What the heck is up with these meet directors????Why the heck is the pace only going to be 13:18...Doesn't make any sense at all..
No only is it not early, but several weeks after the time of the season when Solinsky set the AR. Wasn't that early in the season?

Because no one is in shape for faster.
based on his 26.44 10 K road performance, I estimate Komon
to be ready to go 26.20 or faster.
Jerry has always tried to play everything close to his "in the know" people. Those people are his athletes. The athlete knows probably which race they will be in but nobody else does. This does not change the Ethiopians and Kenyans strategy nor do they much care about any mazunga in the race.
it's early in the outdoor professional track season, considering that the nationals are not for another month and the world's are not until August. However, it is plenty late to run a strong 10k, since many of the best American 10k's have been run in April at Stanford.

1. American Record - indoor 5K
2. Third at NYC half in 60:30
That's not too bad so far.
