I'm thinking of buying a pair of the Eastbay split running shorts, but wonder if they are well made and if they hold up. Anyone here wear them? Are they a good deal?

I have 8 pairs. Have had them for about a year, love the fit, haven't had to replace a pair yet.
My fav running shorts are my Eastbay shorts.
i have a bunch of the 2 color half split. They are great
greatest things ever
They're good but, don't have a pocket in them for a key or anything...
at $15 each (less if you order enough for a coupon code to work) they are just as good as other shorts that cost twice as much.
They are amazing. My team even uses them for our race shorts.
like a previous poster said, they have no key holder in the inner liner, but other than that, they're awesome. i have 3 pairs that i rotate throughout the laundry cycle, and 1 pair that i race in. i've been using the same four pairs of shorts for almost 2 years- no problems. they last
They are fantastic unless you run with your keys, in which case they will leave you cold.
Thanks guys, you've convinced me. I'm going to get two pairs. And nine comments with no trolling or sarcastic/mean-spirited responses -- must be close to a Letsrun record!
just go on runningwarehouse and use a discount and get some higher quality shorts
i hope you ordered the shorts. what you don't know is that we were all just trolling when we said they are good shorts. they actually suck.
just kidding.
or were we?
better?

I always slip a lace through my key and slide it through the laces on a shoe.
Be sure to get at least two pair, to save on the shipping.
I recently got lightweight compression shorts at walmart for $10, and like them better than the eastbay shorts. I wear lightweight nylon undies underneath them. These are much more comfortable than the liner on the eastbay shorts.
