From the stands I was impressed she was up pushing the pace too!
georgie clarke in 2nd... remember georgie clarke???
Thanks for the update, but you should've typed "Jordan who?" As opposed to "Jordan Hasay who." Just sayin'.
She's actually 15. Her Birthday is May, as RunnersTribe stated it was two months away from today. Anyway, still an outrageous performance. More impressive than Hasay.
she'll be done in a few years
very very impressive
Fine performance, but nothing to get worked up over, and her performance at 14/15 years of age isn't a reliable indicator of her future performance. It's not uncommon in the young women's ranks to see phenoms like this to emerge, only to make the most marginal improvement over successive years or actually regress. Hips widen, they grow breasts, add more subcutaneous fat, etc. Hasay Jordan made it through puberty "unscathed" and has emerged as an elite national runner with great promise. Can't make that same statement yet about this runner. Time will tell.
I'll take what is over what may be.
It's Jordan Hasay Wilson!!!
And don't you EVER forget it.
Impressive performance - born 25/05/1995 so she is 15.

Nice PB for her too - previous was 4:19.
But does she have a better pigtail than Hassy?

I understand the previous poster saying that we should take what is over what might be, but does that mean we should take the one that has run 4:13.62, over the one that has run 4:13.85?

everybody was saying that about meseret defar when at age 15 she ran 8:40 for 3k.
dont worry about jordan hasay, she will win a few more NCAA titles, but her best times will be on the european circuit AFTER she is done with college.
she will do well, probably no world records at championship distances (1500,5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon), but hasay will do well, have patience.
I don't understand your post, Jordan by every measure is doing fine and if some young Aussie is also doing well, why does that have to take from Jordan.

There can be only one.
Actually, it's just Jordan Hasay. Jordan is her first name and Hasay is her last name.

Actually it's extremely uncommon for young women like this to emerge. There's about um....0 like this who have ever emerged from the US. How many 15 year old girls not from Africa do you know who went 4:13 at age 15?
