Everyone is talking about every other distance race from Dempsey so I thought the 800 deserved some love.
7 guys qualified for nationals and Greer wins in 1:47.02 as a sophomore.
Looks like Oregon found someone to replace Wheating in the 8

This appears to be a nation-leading time although tfrrs isn't updated yet. The top 3 on the list and 6 of probably the top 13 will be sophomores.
pat casey from bozeman will eat greers lunch, steal his girlfriend, outkick him all in a day's work.
Maybe so, but today Greer ate everyone's lunch, including that UCLA stud's.
A year and a half ago I said Greer will be World Class, I'm sticking to that.
Zach Mellon from Wisconsin is also a sophomore, finished fourth, also under 1:48. This sophomore class of middle-distance talent is amazing.
Bold call, saying a kid who ran 1:47 in 11th grade will be world class. Great job, bud.

This sophomore class of 800/1500 guys is pretty amazing!
That 1:47 as a junior was wicked
