Men's mile looks like another sub 4, I bet if Masters and Van Ingen push from the start they can go 3:57.
200+ entries in the men's mile!?!? Similar wacky numbers all around, entries seem much higher than other years.
with all the people out of the 3k and 5k, maybe they all moved to the mile?
Korir - Iona is entered in the UDub 5k on Friday
BU 3k Saturday Red-Eye Double???
in the mile
2010 - 203, 2009 - 177, 2008 - 167, 2006 - 115
pretty steady growth... the cap on 3k/5k certainly didn't help, though
Anyone have the schedule?
I'm only posting the link because I already had it open...
http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/bost/sports/m-track/auto_pdf/2011-Valentine-Schedule.pdf
it's not too hard to find on BU's website or on directathletics, though...
Goggle?
Thanks. I knew I could count on you.

you don't even know who I am.
but yes, I can be counted on.
3k entrants are liars or the field is just that stacked. 8:45 doesn't get you in with over 100 runners being accepted. Same with the 5k where the the last few guys are slightly over 15 flat. Gonna be a sick meet.

Wrong Korir.
Amherst 9:49 FTW! Incredible time, what is the D3 record? The champ record is only 9:56 I believe.
9:52 for MIT is ridiculous too, as were the other D3 times.
Supposedly Sheetz split 1:49 and the MIT anchor split 4:05
I guess we can confirm these on flotrack later
Lucy van Dalen 8:56, 2:54 last k
I just looked it up and that 9:49 is now the top time in Division III history. Moves Amherst from their 13th position previous with the 9:56 from last year. MIT moves into #2 all-time with their 9:52. They were #1 before this meet with a 9:53 from 2002.
I heard some chick ran with one shoe tonight...looking forward to dicky in the mile tomorrow!
