^first off that website sucks and tells people to shop at zappos over helping out their local runnnig store. also, a lot of their information on there isn't exactly the best. please people, go to your local running store and get fitted properly and actually try on different shoes to see what you like over just taking that websites recommendations then ordering from zappos.
next thing, why would someone wanting to run a 2:27 for the maraton want to run in something that weighs just as much as the adrenaline (the shoe they train in).
OP, i think the lunaracer would be a perfect shoe for you. i train in the asics 2100 series and i ran a marathon in the original lunaracer. i also have the lunaracer 2 and i think they actually feel more stable than the original version.
