What's the difference between the two? I recently ran with the LunarGlide's and thought they weren't too soft. Are the LunarEclipse's a lot softer of a ride?

Definetly softer, but not by a lot. Its a decent shoe, but I don't love it. It essentially is just more cushioned I think.
Wow, two bumps deserves a reply I guess...
the eclipse is a bit more supportive...In Nike's sales catalog they tout it as softer than the Asics Nimbus, with more support than the Kayano. The glide is fairly plush also but with considerably less support, more like the DS-Trainer IMO.
Eclipse has a better roll heel-toe, but feels like substantially more shoe. Glide (and Elite, for that matter) seem very flat. I think the eclipse might be a little more "plush", but not by too much. Definitely more support though.
Eclipse is the more supportive, stable, and cushioned cousin to the Glide. The upper is designed to offer more support through extended use of Flywire in the midfoot and the floating molded heel counter. The heel counter on Eclipse is activated with each heel strike so that is wraps the foot. The molded heel counter on Glide is static.
Eclipse brings a noticeable increase of soft cushioning in the forefoot. If you have the shoe in hand, turn it over and you will notice that the core cushlon foam extends to form the forefoot lugs. They are then capped off with rubber for durability. The difference is very noticeable underfoot. Simply put, the rush is quite a bit more plush than Glide; almost Vomero-like.
Does this help to clarify?
