I have flat feet and pronate moderately. Would this shoe work well for me? Is it a good long run shoe? Does it matter that I have flat feet?
Would it be okay to do all my work in this, or should I get another lighter shoe for my tempos and speedwork also?
Does the Guide have good mileage life too?
Go to a running store that can analyze your gait. Getting a fresh view of you in this shoe by someone that knows what they're talking about is probably your best bet. Where are you from? Any good shops around?
If you put high miles on it it will wear out fast. I bought mine in late July and by early October they were done. Ran 50-70 mpw over that time. They are a cheap shoe. Go for the Ride instead of the Guide I didn't feel any difference and it lasts much longer
