Anybody planning on giving up their Garmin for the new Nike watch with Tom Tom coming out in April?

of course, every nike school in the country will have access to these! Garmin doesn't give anything out for free to my knowledge?
I cannot believe you people would trust a technological device like a GPS. Your generation is just a bunch of ignorant wussies.
I not only use a GPS, but i also drive my car along the course, use map-my-run AND roll a mileage wheel during every single run I do.
HA! Trust a watch to give you accurate mileage. What morons!
True, Garmin gives nothing to retailers that sell their product. Moreover, there pro-deals are terrible and customer service is weak. If Nike does it right, they will push Garmin down a bit in the gps-watch business. Timex is a joke right now, their unit is bigger than the old Garmin 305. Watch it carefully though. Nike's last watch run had an extremely high failure rate. Nearly 50% of all Nike watches had glitches and eventually returned. Wait and see what happens.
Nike's watches have never really been quality, but it wouldn't take much to get better than Garmin. I have a 110 and its USB charger fell apart (replaced by them), and now half of the mode button fell off, potentially exposing the innards of the watch to moisture. Absolutely shit from a design standpoint, though the functionality is very good. Garmin's connect website is also excellent. I just wish they would hire someone who is not an idiot to design the exterior of the watches and the accessories such as the USB charger/data cable. Go Nike? In the meantime, I wish I'd gotten the Timex GPS watch. Those guys know how to do proper hardware.
Nope. I don't need my GPS telling me that I am a good boy for running
4 days in a row or that I need to be more serious when I don't run for a few days. It is stupid.
I call bull on saying Garmin customer service is not good. I've bought many Garmin devices including my 405 and their customer service is AWESOME. In fact they've got a flat $75 fee to fix anything or replace when out of warranty. So if my 405 fails after warranty it costs me only $75 to repair or replace. Good luck getting that with Nike. The online Garmin Connect software is pretty cool too. Right now the Garmin GPS watches and their software are the leader.
