As a college runner, I care greatly about mileage in the winter/race performance during indoor track (personally far less important). Unfortunately, there are only roads available, as the trails are a disheartening mess..
What trainers should I wear in the winter? I enjoy lightweight flat-like shoes in the summer when the trails offer a greater mileage potential, but with the heightened shock of pavement and sidewalk, I'm looking for shoes that will last and help with the wear-and-tear on the legs/decrease probability of stress fractures!!
Has anyone had a similar experience and found a shoe that helps?!? Thanks
