Been looking for a pair of these for a while(I have a big collection of mid 90's spikes). So went looking on ebay and found this guy selling them for nearly $300! Is this man on drugs?

I've seen people pay about that much for Jasaris.
With good reason.
They are that sweet.
somebody will buy them. Common size and highly sought after
That is stupid. The Jasari was a brilliant shoe though
Somebody in the United Kingdom is selling a pair. Maybe get in touch with them?
Anyone with some patience should be able to get a pair for half of that. There are now better spikes than the Jasari, so the only real value of the spikes is in their collector's value, and the people buying it for that reason know where to get it for much less. The days of 300 dollar Jasaris are over.
Who wants to take bets on whether OP is the seller for that posting?
I'd say the first three posts are from the same dude trying to sell these overrated shoes.

unless you want them for a collection, go with victories instead
What do people think will be the most collectable spikes in the future?
which spikes are better than the jasaris? Just curious.
What spikes are better than jasaris in your opinion? Matumbos?
I have a pair of those sitting in my closet. Used them for maybe 5-6 track races when I was in college. Still in very good shape. I think they are a size 10 (have to double check). I'd be willing to part with them for a decent price.
I haven't seen a shoe that fits as well as the Jasari. The Matumbo's are super light, but they aren't as form fitting and snug, while still comfortable like the Jasaris were. Just my opinion. I think they were the best spikes ever.

The Puma Harambee has the exact same upper. The original Nike Eldoret had the same plate as the Harambee. The Harambee was basically a shoe that Puma put together from the best elements of two of Nike's two best shoes (or Nike took the best elements of a Puma shoe and made them into two, depending on who you ask).
Harambee has a very similar upper, but not the same. It has a slightly wider toebox. The material the Harambee was made of also didn't pull as snugly as the Jasari's did. I have two pairs of each still.
I still use the Harambee once in a while for XC races.
I actually really like the newer Eldorets, too, though they don't have many similarities to the original. They put me more up on my toes than the Jasari did.
what's a decent price and are they size 10s?
