Anyone here run, race, or train in the Brooks Launch?

I'm sure lots of people do.
If you're looking for feedback, I have some I suppose.
I tried them hoping that they would be the shoe I was looking for. Lightweight with great cushioning. Well, I felt that there was too much cushioning. I felt almost as if they were dead in a sense. Too much under the foot. I guess I realized I prefer much more road feel and responsiveness, something I didn't notice until trying these shoes out.
If you're looking for a lightweight shoe with lots of cushion though, I feel like it'd do a good job.
they're good. definitely wouldn't race in them because they're more on the "trainer" side of "lightweight trainer," but good for everyday runs.
A very good shoe for hobby joggers trying to transition to real shoes.

yeah and Brooks Hansons Distance Project is for a bunch of hobby joggers.
Brooks shoes are great. But they don't race in the Launch, do they?
Nice, versatile trainer.
I consider it a "lightweight trainer" and I've raced semi-marathons and marathons in them. I sometimes get blisters on my little toes. For shorter road races, I've gone with the Racer STs.
At some point, I made a half-step towards minimalism, avoiding the bulky anti-pronation shoes, so all my training shoes are "performance trainers" like the Asics DS Trainer, and Nike Zoom Elites, and the Brooks Launch fit right in.
If my times were faster, and I were younger, I might select more aggressive shoes, but lightweight with a hint of stabilty or cushion seem to be the right category for me.
I train in the Brooks Launch. I like them for training runs. I would never wear them for intervals or road races they don't fit the foot for that fast feel. They just feel like light weight cushiony trainers like some of the other posters have mentioned.
Too soft for my liking
