They discontinued it and didnt really replace it with anything along the same lines. The LunarElite is the closest i've found.
Not sure if the US can get them but the LunarSpider LT is coming out in January, a nice lightweight trainer, leaning more towards a flat.
LunarFly is a model to consider and is actually close to an ounce lighter than Skylon. The ride is a bit softer than Skylon and has good flexibility.
Lunar Elite is another option with more of a firm ride than LunarFly. If you go this route, wait until January for the Lunar Elite 2 which has much improved forefoot flex and a simpler/more form fitting upper. It's also about half an ounce lighter.
Let me tell you, I wore through 3 pairs of Skylon 11s, and was on my last pair, when I went to the local running store and tried on the Saucony Progrid Kinvara. I love them. They are similarly narrow, lightweight, and have the cushioned feel of the Skylon, and the white ones I have even look like the Skylon. Check them out.
I'm glad you asked this. I was wondering the same thing. I loved mine and was sad when I couldn't find it anymore.
I don't buy that the Kinvara is like the Skylons. They're both a little soft and flexible, but that's about it.
I ran in the Skylons for about two years before they stopped making them, and I stepped down to training full time in the Lunar Racer 2.
Nike Lunar Fly, the Fly 2 comes out early 2011.

But does it have the same narrow fit?
I've also tried the Kinvara after several pairs of Skylons. For long runs they are enough wider that I have issues, other than that I love them as a replacement.
Yes, very similar fit. I have a low volume foot and both fit me well.
