Temp in 40's, looks like perfect weather. What are people who are running NYC thinking of wearing besides the standard singlet? Hats, gloves, tights, those silly armbands?

I ran this morning in a NYC suburb. Was 26F, but zero wind ( I wish we'd have zero wind on Sunday).
I wore a headband, gloves, tights, shirt and arm warmers and a pull-over. Way overdressed. (My first sub-30F run since St. Patrick's day).
The gloves and headband came off during my MP part of the run. The arm-warmers (They are the cheapo ASICS $8 arm warmers) felt warm. There was no sun beating down on me like there will be on Sunday, but no wind.
I will be wearing: Shorts, singlet (maybe short-sleeve shirt), thin cheap-o Target gloves I will probably ditch. That's it.
Put warm clothes in your check-in bag. You will be thankful when you finish as it still will be chilly and windy.
The wind concerns me a little though. Just a little on how much it will effect cooling. But I ran Wineglass in 40-50F temps and wearing a t-shirt by the end felt like too much..
Is it just me or did it get really cold fast. I went for a run this morning and wasn't expecting the low 30s to feel as cold as they did.
Also from the suburbs. Yesterday at 7:30 am broke out the tights, long sleeve top and gloves and was fine. Just went out, temp at 53, was fine in shorts and t-shirt.
For the race, I'll go singlet and shorts. I might bring cheap gloves.
If temperatures hold as forecast (mid 40s throughout race) then it's shorts, singlet, and running cap. The NOAA forecast is showing winds from the northwest around 15 mph which will make it feel a colder, especially waiting around at the start, and will slow down times.
Right now I'm thinking keeping it simple as well with shorts and a singlet, and throw off gloves, and clothes for charity at the start that will be tossed in the first mile.
I'm going with shorts, singlet and silly arm warmers, possibly gloves and a dri fit type hat as well. Bringing it all and will decide the morning of the race.
shorts and a singlet, gloves to throw off. Not positive yet on shirt under or arm warmers.

No, it was not 26F. What do you consider suburb?
