What's safer to do in city streets - run with split shorts on or run with running tights on?
What's safer to do in city streets - run with split shorts on or run with running tights on?
Depends on the neighborhood. I run in Queens, NY in both and have for years and run through a sketchy part of town for about .5 mile.
If I lived in a bad neigborhood (defined as "unsafe for running", if those exists, and I'm sure they do), I probably would be more worried about doing wehatever I had to to move to a better one than running,
I'm a chick, but I get harassed a lot more with split shorts than with tights.
Neither is thats an option to your question. If its cold and can wear a top that falls appropriately low enough you will get away with tights. Other than that you are risking an attack.
"Risking an attack"?
You people are ridiculous. As in essentially ALL contexts, showing more skin will get you more catcalls. If you can handle that, wear whatever you want. If you can't, go somewhere else to run.
