How miles will a pair of Kinvara last?

Forefoot striker - great shoe but lasted maybe 250 miles until seriously worn down. Outer sole wears very very quickly. May be different for a heel striker.
Got mine yesterday. Wish they would have put more rubber on the outsole (especially the outside edges--that's where you strike anyhow). They feel great, but can't comment on durability--I've only put 4 miles in them!
Wore mine for the first time yesterday. Two really easy miles on the treadmill and I can already see some wear to the outsole.
They felt great though.
And they are pretty heavy for a minimalist shoe. Asics Piranha is much lighter - got over 800 miles out of those so far.

Use Shoe Goo to build up the sole where you strike heavily. It will at least double if not triple the life of the shoe.
Was Nike Free guy for years. Got 3 runs under my belt on the Kinvaras and love them. More noticeable midfoot contact than the FREE. Sole feels really soft though... I'll report on durability in a month or so...
I've got about 250 miles on mine, so far so good. I don't see any reason why I won't make it to 500. Haven't noticed much wear, but haven't really looked. They always feel pretty good, but I only wear them once/week on my long tempo day.
They feel really soft and spongy at first but firm up a little more after a couple hundred miles. My outside white lugs are worn down but other than that, they still feel good. Mine have almost 900 miles on them, and will run in them a little while longer.
I wear tested them numerous times and got over 600 miles on them. I could have gotten more but i always had to send them back.
Its very individual though, i can easily get 800 miles out of a pair of shoes.
"Lifespan"
A layer of duct tape on point of greatest contact/wear takes about three miles to wear through, if treadwear is a greater issue than cushioning death.

I've got 1,020 miles on my Kinvaras. Like the previous poster mentioned, I use Shoe Goo on the lugs and heel.
The upper is completely fine. No tears.
The midsole is very hard now, and my joints are hurting more than usual now.
I'll be retiring them soon as I've got some "new" Kinvaras with only 450 miles. They're just getting broken in.

Hopefully long enough for this kid's attitude to change:
