Those aren't the same as the ones Lopes wore. His were white with gold swoosh.
Right. He wore the Spiridon golds. Same shoe different color. This was a big shoe in its day along with the Nike Eagle. See:

Ha. I am not sure you want to race in these bad boys anyway. They're 27 years old. You can definitely wear them and they are pretty "flat" as well. The fact of the matter is that these were the best road flats of their day.

I just have too many running shoes. I have had these for long time and it's time to let them go. The economy being what it is I don't expect too much. In my search of past Ebay auctions these could easily get over $100. But that was then. But we'll see how the auction plays out.
