Let's just say I have one pair of shorts that I wear daily but I don't like to do laundry daily and washing them in the sink doesn't leave them smelling that great even if they hang to dry the night.
Is there a solvent or method you guys use to wash your shorts after running so you can wear them again the next day? I really don't want to buy 8 pair of new shorts right now. I just don't want to smell when I go to the gym to do my weights.
What's the secret so guerilla laundry?
I don't know if your idea is the healthiest, but I used to hate doing laundry when I ran a lot; so, I would try to wear the same shorts for several runs a week without washing them. My solution was to let them hang on something when I was done running so that they could dry and be aired out. Then, the next time I wanted to wear them I would just rub dryer sheets all over them. If that didn't suffice; then, I would put them on and give them a good spray of old spice or fabreeze. It seemed to work pretty well; nobody ever told me differently if it didn't work.
Either learn to love the smell of your own hard won stinky runners crotch sweat...or own alot of pairs of shorts and use and launder.

Soak in basin with 1/4 cup of oxyclean powder, works wonders

That's actually a decent idea.
Febreze can help.
Never leave your shorts sit in a manor that doesn't allow them to dry. They will get very stinky.
Of course the obvious answer is to own more than one pair of shorts. Maybe don't be such a tight-ass? You can get decent running shorts on eastbay for 8-16 dollars.
Try washing yourself with a little soap and water every now and then.
Hang them from the screen in your window overnight. That gets most of the stank out.
good stuff here guys. i've been showering with my shorts on and then hanging them to dry but they're a little damp still so I might break down and buy another pair. seriously though, a week's worth of shorts can be $150 bucks and laundry here is $2.00 a load. That gets pricey over the course of a year.

this, I have been doing this for years rotating the same three pairs of running shorts. I will put them in the laundry every two-three weeks.
Stop crapping, peeing, and sharting in your shorts while you work out.
