I bought these today & went for a run with them.
As you can see like the Nike Free they have a very flexible sole with splits. But I've owned the Frees before I like this shoe a lot better.
It's a narrow shoe with a snug toe box. The cushion is very firm. With the firmness and narrowness of the shoe it makes for quick turnover with running stride.
In the store I also tried on the Nike Lunarswift, lunarfly, and new Free. All 3 had significantly more cushion and support compared to the chill.
Sad thing is this shoe cost $75. I left the store and looked online and couldn't find a better price so I went back. Also I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, but with this shoe I take a 9.5
They were fine in todays cold weather.
also they remind me the Brooks T5, with a higher sole.
Same narrow and snug concept though.
