Just bought my pegs from a local running store for $90. Go to the mall and Footlocker has the same pair for $69. So pissed.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Why?

NEVER shop at local running stores unless you have to...prices are very high (CS is usually lacking, too).

Pegs have become a mall shoe, so the price jumps up and down as the malls have sales. If $20 are that big of a deal to you, return them to your LRS, they typically have great return policies.
They were on sale at the mall. That is most likely not their regular price. Happens all the time with every product known to man.
Are they the same or could the ones at mall be last years model? Had a lady that bought a saucony ride 3 try to to return them, when I asked why she was returning she said she found them cheaper at another store. Opened the box up an there was a pair of ride 2 inside.
Are you seriously not buying your shoes from runningwarehouse.com?
90 dollars is Nike's retail price. At my local store they go for 84. Last year's model, when it's in stock, is usually 69. I'd be willing to bet the difference in price that you saw last year's model in the mall.
Running stores are unique from places like Footlocker because they provide a service to customers. They are usually able to recommend shoes particular to your foot type and fitness goals. Footlocker does not do ANY of that, nor are the employees capable of it. Consider the extra $20 part of that service.
Also, why not support the local running store? They probably appreciate your business more than Footlocker anyway.
No no, they have the Nike Pegasus 27's for $69, which is the current version, not a previous version.
Both are the same anyway, Nike doesnt change the last of the pegs ever
See if LRS will refund you the difference. Odds are they will want to keep you as a customer. They would be stupid not to give you the $20 back. Any store (big box, LRS, website) is stupid not to refund you the difference if you mention it to keep you as a customer.

That is awesome! How did this story play out?
This year's Pegasus is far different the the previous few years. It is much softer and more flexible. They are not pretty much the same. $69 is a steal for the newest version. Buy it up at the mall and stop bitching that your LRS is trying to stay in business.
