I've just started training for a marathon and need new shoes... I've been wearing Nike Vomeros now for several years and like them, but have been hearing great things about the new Lunar Glides. Should I switch??

stick with the Vomeros. Lunar Glides fit like a glove but in the end they are more rigid and much firmer than the Vomero. I ended up with Plantar Problems with the glide and I had high hopes for them. I switched shoes and I am running healthy again.
better yet go with racing flats. you'll never look back
nike had a good thing going with the lunar trainer and inexplicably effed it all up. stay awway from anything lunar, excapt the racer now.
check out the brooks ghost.
love(d) the lunar trainer
my brother has worn the vomeros for 2 years and he really liked them.
Most nike running shoes are pretty identical so either one should bode well for you.
Assuming you’re aiming for around the 3 hour mark, (2.45 or under, you should wear racing shoes) stick with the shoe you’re comfortable with.
The Vomero, with its first-rate cushioning sole is an excellent choice.
As mentioned on this thread, Nike seems to have lost the plot somewhat with the Luna technology.
