Hello everyone,
I was wondering if any of you would kindly make a suggestion for the firmest road flat because I will be running many road races this fall. I'm not racing anything over 5k, and I love that hard track spike feeling... and of course, lighter the better.
Thanks.
If you like the hard track spike feeling, I'd recommend XC Flats like the new Brooks Mach 12's or the Saucony Kilkenny's. They're great on the roads or off-roads. Also, the Adidas Adizero PRs is a firm but flexible and light flat (although do they still make this?). The Brooks T6s are a great combo of firmness but cushiness. I generally find any Nikes to be too mushy (I'm with ya on wanting the feet to "pop" off the ground).
