Solinsky:
PR 10K, PR 5K, ok 5K, end?
Rupp
PR 10K, Nat Chp 10K, PR 5K, end?
Teg
ok 1500, slow 1500, slow 5K, end?
only 4 diamond league races left...
I've heard of racing lightly, but...

Tegenkamp was injured early on.
In any case, they're not finished.
Too busy dodging drug tests... Seriously, Teg gets a pass due to injury and there is a lull right now because European Championships eats up two weekends.
All said athletes are said to have made their big improvements because they are finally injury free yet all have been nothing but injured since they joined the Portland group.
the only ones who are said to be injury free are rupp and solinsky...neither has been injured and both have made huge jumps recently
teg and ritz have been injured lately and neither has put up a big mark recently...
not sure where you see a flaw in the logic
Solinsky is racing Stockholm Diamond Leage 5000 on August 6.

Can we trust this, or is it just another Nike publicity stunt?
do people actually think the bowerman thing was an intentional publicity stunt?
you think the biggest sports marketing company in the world would put effort into deceptively marketing a local road 5k won in 14:45
yes, solinsky is planning to run the race...if he changes his mind between now and then, he wont...just like teg and webb
Solinsky will "Run" the race by changing the lap counter... jesus, I hate nike.
Seriously, is anyone actually complaining about the track season Solinsky has had?

Haha. Is this what really went down on Sunday? Were Teg and Webb helping to 'run' the race in the organizational sense? Cause that is awesome.
Of course, I'm on record as saying that the whole not-running-and-letting-message-board-idiots-bitch thing is also awesome.

Yes, and unlike many others who didn't even run indoors, he ran i believe 9? indoor races.
I don't think anyone is complaining about the quality of Solinsky's season, just its apparent brevity. People are excited after him racing so incredibly and want to see more, understandably.
I too would love to see more from all of these guys, even though I think their seasons were quite spectacular and long enough - although, as one poster stated, they're not yet over.
zurich
I spoke with Solinsky today on the Nike campus and his schedule is Stockholm 5k on the 6th of August, Zurich 5k on the 19th, and Rieti 3k on the 29th. Hopefully this should provide some fireworks for us.

If you really think Nike needs to employ stunts, you really are not thinking it through...
