I'd also like to hear opinions if anyone has any. Not a huge fan of the older Landreth models but I get Asics shoes for cheap and if this is a bit of an improvement I'd go for it.
it looks like a complete redo and i like the snug heel they have added. anyone has has run in them, your comments would be great
I've noticed that the very earl landreth models 1-3 were like performance trainers. 4 and 5 got to be stiffer and heavier and this one looks heavier too. Depends what you like though.
I tried them earlier track season and they werent great. They gave me knee problems within three days of wearing them.

Hasn't it always been 2000-series without the post? The change you are describing wouldn't make sense then.
Tried them on in the store I work in, and the new heel apparatus was surprisingly comfortable. It'll be on the DS-Trainer 16 apparently, and I'm excited for that. Beyond that....they sell well....

I agree. I switched from landreth to speed star somewhere around landreth v4 and have loved it.
