Think about it. It's pretty amazing. Granted she's a junior but that means she's never race anyone older than her either and lost.
Here's the article:
I hope she makes it through the World Juniors unscathed.

Yeah we know about her 127 race winning streak but it may come to an end this week, if not she definitely won't make it past 2011 unbeaten. Shes only raced local athletes who aren't really the caliber she is so NO BIG DEAL REALLY! Beside Ashton Purvis will rip her a new one in the 100m- streak OVER!
you are right... we shouldn't be impressed with a 16 year old girl who ran 22.7 and 11.4. She probably dominated the local boy athletes as well.
AGE 16
11.24
22.79
5.33 LONG JUMP AT AGE 13!
Before anybody brings it up:
Herb Elliott *did* lose a race--and at the mile distance--as a youngster. In his autobiography he mentions losing, as a 14-year-old, to a pair of 17-year-olds.
And of course he lost multiple races at distances other than the mile/1500.
age
14 - 5:35 in 1st mile race
14 - 5:00, 2nd by 10 yards to boy who was 3 years older
16 - 4:36 - 1st
16 - 4:30.8 - 1st
16 - 4:25.6 - 1st (1st lap 57 seconds)
16 - 4:20.8 - 1st
Check out a couple of interviews with her
Well, officially she has lost races, just not to women for example:

If I win 130 mile races and don't break 5, are you going to be impressed? She is a legit athlete but unless your winning world championships, you should be running races where you lose occasionally. As far as Herb Elliot, it is a lot more impressive to be undefeated at the end of your career than at the beginning.

She is a class act, and has a good head on her shoulders. She will hopefully go far.
And I'm sure she Is not the one that's touting for coverage on not losing races. She only wants to run!
Bekele at 10,000m.
To put it in perspective, Marion Jones ran 11.17, 22.76 and 52.91 for the 100/200/400 as a sophomore in high school.

to put some sorta adult perspective
veronica campbell was bigged up as having not lost a 200 race for years including the athens final ( it may even have been never lost a 200 race as a senior ) but despite winning in low-22, it's certain she wouda been crushed if she'd faced 5 of the last previous champs
she only gets respect know because she has gone into the magical 21.7 territory
Wasn't aware of that streak - she has been beat indoors - by boys though!
As for Ashton Purvis well a year older and slower over 200m and her 100m more windy -it will be close over 100m
The streak is not the important thing, its wether she manages to develop into the seniors as a number of other uk sprinters failed to do especially on the female side
I've read she is 6'2 tall - is that right ?!
she will be able to run the 2012 world juniors as well if she wanted as she is born in 1993, though the olympics in 2012 are going to be her priority i would think (duh).
anyway i think purvis will end that streak this week.
look for many years of classics from these 2.

why did you even bother posting? no it isn't impressive to not break 5 and still win a lot. but that's a terrible comparison! 22.7 and 11.2 for a 16 year old girl is great! your statement is suggests she is running 25.5 and is undefeated. She set UK jr records and is going after a world championship so back off.
it says 6'2 on wiki which shocked me
she therefore has a "bolt" height
obviously no implication she can perform similar, but with his precedence, she coud be 11/22 within a coupla years & by far best sprinter in euro, '12 finalist, challenging for 5th in 100 & bronze in 200
This says 5'7", and judging by pics she doesn't look 6'2".
she therefore won't be running any individual finals in '12 & unlikely to break 11.1/22.2 basic anytime
Here is another great article on Williams:
Article says her friends call her "Moneylegs" and says she's won 146 races and counting.
