Thinking about giving them a go? Will they hold up well as a daily trainer? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I'm also considering them now...whats the heel-to-toe drop on them?
i had the 2s and 3s some time ago. i used them to train for sprints, so not a lot of mileage but i loved them. fwiw i was heel striking in them, too, but the drop was certainly not a big one
I put over 600 miles on a pair and I thought they were great. I wore them for everyday training and also ran a marathon in them.
Bought them today but haven't run in them yet. Breaking them in with walking around.
Are they similar to the DS Trainer?
They are narrower than the Speedstar 3s and they don't have as much overlay, so if you have normal or wide feet (like I do) these things are going to get SHREDDED.

Ran a half marathon in them the day after I bought them. Intelligent? Well, not so much, but they were quite comfortable. In regards to your question, the Speedstar is basically a neutral version of the DS-Trainer.
