Anyone know who's in line for the Wake distance job?

You mean the Wake-van driving-administrative assistant job?
No, he means the distance position. Seeing as the ENTIRE coaching staff was fired, i'd say it's more than just a van driving position.
The Wake staff was not fired. Why do you say that?

None of their contracts were renewed. Word just got out today but the rumors have been going around for a couple weeks now
Surprise!
About Damn Time. Worst coach in NCAA History. Best news this program has had since 2002.
Best news? Except maybe having 5 All-Americans (Nikeya Green, Annie Bersagel, Jill Miller, Michelle Sikes, Selina Sekulic) and two National Champions (Michelle Sikes & Mike Bingham).
You can argue Wake should have done more...but she certainly isn't the "worst coach in NCAA History."
Fine...Worst Men's Coach in NCAA History
Is Scott Hall out as well?

What happened to Sekulic? It looked like she was All-American her sophomore year in Cross and then completely disappeared.
Podiatry school.
she was ano. as were many of the girls on wake's team.
Wow. I guess I'm not surprised. But I am a little bit seeing as how they let her keep the job for so long. I just figured the AD didn't care. Wake has had some very very good women's xc teams under her (as well as some outstanding individuals), but the men just fell of the map completely after having some national qualifying (and regional champ) men's teams back in the 90s. She can clearly coach some good athletes, but the team vision was lacking.

WOW! I got to see Bennett speak at a conference a few years ago. She had some good things to say about specific workouts, strength training, season planning, etc. I learned a lot from her. (In retrospect, I'd say that her training philosophy was very Jack Daniels; I don't mean that as a negative either.) She was very generous with her knowledge & I really appreciated that. What a shame. I hope she lands on her feet.
Goodridges return!
