Good run by Smyth to nab 3rd; he has done as well as anyone could expect of him post-collegiately. He just received one of those new USATF high performance grants also; it'll be cool to see if this guy can ever make the next level.
Sheehan's run has got to be one of the Hanson's men's better finishes ever in a non-marathon event. I think at the last champs we were all bashing the Hansons for being way at the back of the men's 10k.
Jankowski; the guy who we all bashed for going out and getting his qualifier for this meet way back in October in a solo effort; seems that schedule worked out well for him.
Meanwhile all the guys we would have expected to be up at the front were not: Bizuneh, Carney, and Bauhs.
