Has anyone run in the Nike Lunar Elite+? In the store it seemed really stiff and inflexible, which I am worried about. Also, how is the forefoot cushioning and the durability?

I have a pair. I use them for my tempo/Interval runs mostly. I put about 15 miles on them in a week. They are very hard/little cushion. But i like for that type of stuff. Would i wear them every day? NO! are they a good shoe yea.
Also only put them on in the store. Waaaaaaay too stiff for my taste.
To me, it seems as Nike had success with the initial lunaracer and then f*ed up all other shoes the were being introduced in the lunar line. Except for the LR2, which is not so bad.
I've got about 150 miles on a pair. Very stiff and inflexible but surpringly comfortable and supportive on the roads. Normally run in nike free 5.0 but don't mind these although I likely will not buy another pair.
besides them being really stiff and not having much cushion, another problem i have with them is that the nike plus thing creaks whenever you step on it. its not a major problem, but it just bothers me
Yes, they are a little stiff but they do break in. I'm about 130 miles into mine and they're more than comfortable. Good-decent lightweight trainer good for basically anything/everything.
I do miss the lunar trainers though.
I have had a pair for the last 3 months and they have worked great. they hold up well, are low to the ground and light which makes them really good for speed training. they have a reasonable amount of cushioning for how low to the ground they are and work fine for any heel, midfoot, or forefoot striker. they are very stiff but when running i dont notice it a bit. the only con i would have for them is the tread wears out pretty fast.
