I use prescription Oakleys - far from reasonably priced but amazing set of eyewear

Where do you get them?
I bought the frames at sunglass hut and they recommended an optomitrist who made and installed the lenses.
Good thing about them is that they don't bounce at all and are the clearest sharpest lenses I've ever had.
They do seem to scratch very easily tho.

I had prescription Oakley's for years but went through several pairs because the ear pieces would crack (whether from use or accident). I'd recommend metal ear pieces if you get Oakley's (which is what my spouse has, had them for at least 10 years). Kinda sucks too if your prescription changes and you need new lenses. I've been much happier in contacts and wearing whatever sunglasses.

Looking for advice:
I can not run without glasses and am wondering if there is a reasonably priced place to get some prescription sunglasses without too much trouble.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Before you suggest contacts, I've already tried many times. I just can't wear them, unfortunately.
Have you given corrective surgery any thought? Just asking.
Get them from China. Hell, the real HQ of Nike is in China, so that's good enough isn't it. Google for Zenni Optical. They are in Frisco but the glasses are made in China. It takes 2 weeks to arrive to your house. Prices are so cheap just order several pairs.
Research corrective surgery before you do it. The odds of being dissatisfied with it are something like 5%, which doesn't sound like much, but taking 1 in 20 odds of screwing up your eyesight may be more risk than you want to take.
With me I got Lasik, and after a year of painful, dry watery eyes, I got to the point where I was less nearsighted, but still nearsighted enough that I need glasses for driving and long distance vision and my best corrected vision is not as good as it used to be with glasses or contacts. I've got friends who went to the same doctor and got great results, but I wish I had never done it. Just make sure you know what you might be getting into.
They're probably hard to find outside Georgia, but I have a pair of Tifosis (made in Watkinsville, Ga.) that fit well and feel good while running. Cost about $375 with prescription lenses.
