Hello, I do not have flat feet and I do not have high arches and I am a front foot runner. What I do have is a bad scar that is 3 inches long from a surgery that is about 2 inches above my ankle on my posterior side. I can not run more than 2 miles without my posterior tibial tendon to start aching ( I think the scar puts pressure on it) so I am thinking the combination of orthotics and a good running shoe will take the pressure off that area.
( I really would just love to be able to run 5 miles 3 days a week and run a 5k every now and then, I'm not looking to run 100 miles a week and break 30 in the 10k)
