I am looking for a running watch, preferably one that gives pacing and distance. I've looked at several and was wondering what the consensus was on how accurate these watches are. Some features I want are the ability to do intervals, current pace, total distance, and also something that can be connected and uploaded to a computer for logging purposes.
I want to use it to get pacing for tempo and fartlek type workouts. I like the ones that use a footpod such as the Polar rs200sd. However how accurate are footpods with pace changes? Would I be better off going with something like the Garmin 405 if I want better accuracy?
Budget is up to $300.
