i like the lunarfly's. they are pretty light ( ~ 9.5 oz ) with good forefoot cushioning. the uppers do not give me blisters on my toes ( sort of same upper as the haywards ).
I have the lunarracer 2+ and I get blisters on my toes from them. I still wear them because they form calaces
Was in Sports Authority today and saw the Lunarfly (I think it was anyway). It seemed like an updated version of the Nike Run Avant, which I think is a great lightweight trainer. Only color was black/grey, so I'm waiting for a good bright midlife crisis color combo to come out.
check out eastbay or nike.com....they have many different colors of it
Lunar racer is a good shoe but narrow and does form blisters on the outside of big toe.
Lunar Trainer is to soft for running but is a great walk around everyday shoe. This shoe is so soft you actually feel tired running in it.

Ermmm the Lunar Racer and Lunar Trainer have the same mid and outsole, IIRC. The only difference between these two were the upper.
Since then, Nike has launched an entire Lunar line (alongside their Air, etc. lines).
They feel differn't. The Lunar Trainer feels wider and hence feels as it takes more energy from you.
You can say stats like they have the same mid or outsole but when you run and race a couple hundred miles in both I was saying what they felt like.
I agree the Lunar Trainers are a terrible running shoe. Way to soft. But they are great to walk in. Do you think training in a super soft shoe with terrible energy return would make you stronger?
ok so the trainers are to soft...what about the glides and swifts and flys? are they also too soft? i know the flys lunar foam looks different from the trainers foam.
bump
Bought a pair of Swifts on sale
They feel good on long runs. A little heavier 290g 10.5oz
They feel stiff (as many have noted) but maybe they'll loosen up.
They feel like reliable mid-lightweight trainers.
I've never worn any other Lunars.
Lunar Glide feels good putting your foot in them and I was excited about this shoe. Your feet seem to lock nicely in place in this shoe and it was decieving good. The problem for me with the Lunar Glide is in caused me to have Platar Fasciatis and when I stopped running in it my Plantar problem went away.
Running in a softer shoe like the lunar trainer making your feet stronger, I am not sure about that one. I do like wearing it as a before or after run shoe. I wear the Lunar Trainer to work some days and it feels good to walk in.
I was a asics Speedstar 1 and 2 fan but #3 and above suck in my opinion. I listened to some other posters who like the 1 and 2 and they moved to the Adidas Adios which I switch off 3 pairs now. I love the shoe and feel fortunate that I found it.
