I'm 6ft 160 and a forefoot striker. Based on my gait analysis, I been told that I am a slight overpronator. My shoes are breaking down too quickly at the balls of my big toes. Not the outsole (no major tread wear), it's more like a noticeable nickel-sized, compressed divot in my insole and midsole after 100-150 miles. I've seen this with DS Trainers and now Brooks GTS Adrenaline. It's not as noticable with Kayanos but I was trying for less clunky of a shoe. Do you think I need shoes with a beefier forefoot and if so, do you know of any that aren't heavier than 12.5 oz?
Just looking for some opinions, I know that a podiatrist is an option.
