Talks have started after his gutsy performance at Conference, that they interested in making him the next PRE!!! I hope they choose Tom Cruise! Because he can run all out forever without getting tired, just like AJ!!!

As usual, you are late to the party with your dim wit.
Nice to hear from AJ himself. I'm blessed by your presence!! Tell us more about your performance. I can't wait till your next reply. Will you keep to this name or will you be posting under your other alias?

Heard plans were scrapped upon Nike learning Pre would not be available to play AJ. Too bad, Would have been a great flick.
Doesn't NIKE have to assassinate him first in order to become a legend?

well that and he'd have to hold 6 american records at once and be undefeated above the mile at hayward field including thru us championships and olympic trials for his career.
Why is this on the front page?
AJ had one good meet after a less then mediocre career at Oregon and all of a sudden everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
Spineless cowards!
I think it will be the greatest performance of a collegiate runner this year.
better than Chelanga smashing the NCAA 10k record?

Believe me, as someone who had a truly mediocre career at Oregon (even while setting one school record,) AJ has not had a mediocre career, the program has been STACKED, he's been injured, and he has another year.
Be patient, enjoy.
lol. You can't tell that this thread is more of a knock to his performance rather than it is of praise? I think it's funny that two of my threads made the front page. I'd like to thank all the Extra love the UO fanbase(Oregon Athletes)showed on these boards with all their insider information given by them(selves). They inspired me to post these threads to try to balance out LETSRUN.COM from the heavy UO love.
LOL? Son, are you laughing at yourself? If not, perhaps you should be. If you are so bitter and frustrated that you have to entertain yourself by posting as you do, you need psychological help. A young man (A.J. Acosta has just completed a near super human performance and you want to mock him for it? The University of Oregon men and women's track and field teams perform magnificently and you want to mock it? Sicko!

Look Gramps, you're not helping his situation by saying he had a super human performance. I'm guessing you're old since you called me son. But you use words of a 7 year old. "Sicko"? Really? I don't see whats so super about him, being he didn't win anything. Yeah, he put down a good performance. But why start threads about yourself? As he is. I can tell it's him because he gets REALLY angry with his 140pd frame when anybody bashes him. Its always the same guy. But I'm pretty sure he goes by more than one alias. If you want to talk about Super Human performances, you're in luck you don't have to look very far. He's a fellow duck. But he doesn't post on LETSRUN.Com. So there was maybe one thread on him. The Guy scored more than TWICE as much as Acosta and did a whole lot more events.
No, not really. But it was so inspiring that it probably inspired his teammates, so maybe?
I don't see what the big deal about his triple was??
Does everyone forget Dan Huling's 2006 triple TITLE races in the 10k, 5k and steeple of 30:37, 14:05, and 8:44.
Maybe not the most impressive of times, but they were all three a win and respectable times. Not to mention a faster steeple and a 10k instead of a 1500m.
These times were right around what he could have ran in high school, right? But I get it-- enough people dislike the guy for Letsrun to sell his marginal success on the front page.
Yes, AJ could have easily pulled this off in high school. Easily.
AJ needs to go get his brakes checked pronto

"Sicko" Sonny, you either need to learn to read or you need glasses. I very clearly said that it was a near Super Human performance, so don't try to exaggerate. Yes, I agree that Oregon's Ashton Eaton did have a Super Human performance, but you and your ilk haven't been bashing Ashton for the past two years. Fact is, A.J. stuck it to you pretty good, and you can't handle it. I imagine the Oregon Duck fans are getting a pretty good laugh at fools like you.
