I wore last year's version of the Mana (the one with a forefoot post) as an everyday trainer. I absolutely loved the shoe.
I find this year's version stiff and clunky and just don't like the thing. I feel like it has a greater rearfoot/forefoot drop than last years' too, but I wouldn't swear to that.
Also: I wore that shoe in races from 12k to 50 miles and never had any negative thoughts about the shoe during those races. What a nice shoe.
Note: I did think the heel counter came up too high in the back for me, but that was an easy fix using a serrated knife to cut those down.

agreed. ALL of adidas' shoes were immeasureably better last year then this year. this year it was like "hmm...how stiff, clunky, and unresponsive can we morph all of our bestsellers into?"
get real, adidas.
does the mana have a post?
