I have had recent calf problems that restricted my training but am now back to 90%. I have the following shoes to choose from:
1) brand new adidas adizero Mana - weight 8 oz. - used for one 20 miler(10 on dirt road/10 pavement) and three 8 mile tempos
2) 1 year old NB 903 - 10 oz. - 1 marathon & 100 miles total
3) new adidas Supernova - 12 oz. - one 20 miler and most day to day mileage total= 100
Will the trainers get me farther along and prevent the calf from tightening? Will the reduced weight flats make for an easier effort that will negate the decreased cusioning? I will be running 6:40/mile pace.
