I paid about $130 once but I didn't use them for running. They were my everyday shoes. It was one of the NB models.

The shoes only cost 80 but the injury after one run cost me another thousand.

Nike Zoom Victory's, NIKEid version.
I currently have 645 miles on them and they are still going strong.
Best shoe I have ever had.

fifty bucks. Why would anyone pay over a hundred dollars for a pair of shoes? You suckers ruin the market for the rest of us. Just like with the cellphones.

Yeah, they are.
My first pair I got 475 miles out of.
But the pair I am wearing right now are NIKEid, and they are holding up incredibly strong..645 miles and the bottoms still look like 100+ more miles left in them. I don't know if they make them differently in nikeid or what, but the specific pair i have now are exceptional.
