Sounds like it's time for the ole "school ain't the same as the octagon" speech your daddy gave you when you were little...
I remember that one time I told my kid about using protection, then had to explain how it was that he got born.
"So I told my kid not to hit other kids at school and that fighting isn't the answer."
I don't know if you're a hyporite, but you're kind of a liar. I mean, sometimes fighting is the answer. You know, out here, in the streets, in competition: A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy. What is the problem Bad Father?
Your kid actually listens to you, he's gonna get routinely stomped by some blonde California pretty-boy. You don't want that, do you? Strike first, strike hard. Sweep the leg and disable the threat and most importantly, come home safe.
UFC is a bit different than schoolyard fisticuffs. Most importantly, these men are trained-- and paid-- to take and throw a hit, there are rules, there are refs to make it stop when appropriate, and each guy is of comparable size and training. Also, they generally have no actual beef with their opponents; they're fighting for the sake of fighting and making money off said fighting. On the playground, kids are acting aggressively because one called the other a name. Or whatever other stupid reason. In that case, violence should not be the answer. Mostly because kids can get in a lot of crap for fighting on school property (think suspension, expulsion, juvie, etc.).
Not that I'm a fan of UFC or have even watched it for that matter, but there are important differences.
My Man T Balls is exactly right. End of conundrum.

So if a man confronts you on the street and wants to fight you, you would just fight him?
Sounds like a perfect recipe for an ass-kicking. Is this just a clever segway into the health insurance argument?

your post sounds like something John Kreese of the Cobra Kai dojo would say
I agree with him ^^^ wrote:

Aha thanks for the props but I'm afraid I'm a girl! Though I do like the nickname.
My father always told me as long as I dont throw the first punch he would not be mad at me if I got in a fight at school. So I always made sure i pushed the kids trying to start something to the edge.
Granted the first punch was never thrown
What if they have 20 second 200 speed?...I don't think that you would escape so easily in such a situation.

Would depend on how nimble you are.
Ok Einstien,
What do you teach your weeping 60 yr olds to do when they are cornered, no escape, bend over and take it like a man!?
No! Like Kenny Rodgers said a long time ago - " Some times you gotta fight when your a man" So when you do make sure you know how and then end it quickly and rattle on down the road!
This doesn't lead to a need for therapy, but peace of mind and confidence.
Hey- get your own persona. Stop impersonating me!
Sometimes fighting is the answer. A quick decisive lashing is the best way to ward off present and future bullies. I nailed one kid over the head with a Mickey Mouse lunch box (in retrospect, this was likely the cause of the bullying) and sent him home crying. I also tackled a kid who was beating up my (older) brother on the front lawn of the elementary school and left the bully crying in a thorn bush. My brother was happy with me. :)

Martial arts in the ring for sport is a lot different than fighting in real life with the intent of just to hurt the other.
Non-fans of MMA will never be able to understand this.
this is the answer
