Cabada and Trafeh have as much natural talent as Ritz. The reason they were not as fast in high school was because of crappy coaches and difficult living conditions. It just took more time for their talent to manifest itself because they are attempting to be world class runners with no money and lacking a stable training environment.
To me, Ritz's 12:56 is more suspect than any performance of theirs. Ritz was a relatively slow marathoner: 13:16-27:22-61:38-2:10 at the time of his 5000 in which he lowered his PR by 20 seconds and ran 12:56. Really? That isn't suspicious?
To those who say Ritz was always a supertalent and these times are consistent, Marion Jones and Mary Decker were supertalents as undrugged teenagers as well.

quoting the brojos: Trafeh's sudden huge leap in form has already led to illegal PED gossip on the message boards. Those who think that such talk is sad or bad for the sport are mistaken in our minds. We think questions like that have to be asked in this day and age and think that it is good that it is being asked in this case as Trafeh is an American and so often people who raise the drug suspicions are accused of being racist.

So to deflect the charge of racism against the Trafeh accusers, I would hope we can have a fair discussion about the likelihood of Ritz's illegal drug use.
