He didn't beat Wheating, he pulverized him, he beat him at his own game. I wanted Wheating to lose sooooo bad. Smiles!
Andrews executed perfectly. I seriously thought Wheating had it after he began moving up on the back stretch.
By an off chance, does anybody have splits?
Whoever predicted that Andrews would beat Wheating should have told everybody the inside scoop they had. I think Andrews made it look easy because at the 400 meters he was in last place then slowly moved up. Then blew by Wheating the last 50 meters pretty easily.
A fatigued Wheating who thought he had the race won, got beat by the fresh legs of young Mr. Andrews. I can't wait to watch the two of them go at in in Eugene in June. Anyone want to bet against Wheating? Didn't think so.
I hate oregon fans, like you.

If .01 seconds counts as blowing by someone....then i don't know what to think
Wheating has never encountered anyone who can match is last 100 of any pace. Now he has, and Andrews won't get any more hall passes from here on out....
These two will never be able to compete with the best in the world so it doesn't matter who's faster

Funny, I can see a couple guys named Rudisha and Gregson giving you the horse laugh.
More arrogance for another Oregon loser...
And what are the chances that Wheating and Centro will even be able to compete by outdoors?
Ummm....ever hear of Nick Symmonds?
Pics?
How about jacob hernandez?
symmonds yes, hernandez no...hernandez beats him through brave front running and occasional tactical mistakes by wheating
Yes Wheating has met his match. But didn't the same thing happen to him last year against Jacob Hernnandez? So it wasn't the first time he was beat late. But I have a feeling it will probably be the last...unless he races Mac Fleet in an 8. Yeah I said it. Unless-he-races-Mac-Fleet-in-an-800. (only staying in college realm)
Are you kidding me. Andrews proved who had the biggger cahones. Wheating has never really beat someone big in a race. I mean Symmonds beat Borzi and Andrews beat Wheating, both huge upsets. Symmonds isn't a champion just a safe place finish thats why he always comes in second and the runners with the cahones either win or fade.
