That is ridiculous! Great climbers have body control that most people just can't understand.
I used to do some climbing and got to where I could pretty consistently make the 5-10 runs at a few climbing gyms I used to frequent. I know that is not necessarily tranlatable to the real rock. But it was a blast. But watching some of the people in there was just mezmerizing.
Nope it would be American football or baseball. neither is in the Olympics.
Sport fishing.
NASCAR. Ovbious! It is the bigest sport.
Baseball might work (for some reason, I thought it was already there) but Americans would be the only nation to put together a full football team, which would obviously dominate anyone else. If it had more international support, perhaps, but there is no one else interested in football.
Bowling is supposed to the "most popular participation sport" in the US with something like 100 million people going bowling each year.
But not sure if meets the "legit" portion of your question
What's that thing they play in Asia that's like soccer on a volleyball court? That one.
Line dancing
avalanche dodging
I'm a climber, but I can't imagine climbing ever being in the Olympics. Randonee ski racing would appear sooner than climbing.
window smashing

If Curling can be an Olympic sport, then certainly bowling can. Curling is bowling on ice. Well, OK, it's more shuffleboard on ice. So, shuffleboard should be in the Olympics. We could have octogenarians representing the US, oxygen tanks, white shoes and all.
Jesus H Christ, that Sierra Blair-Coyle girl in the video is 16. Ridiculous
Not athletic sports are any sport using Gravity, Ice, Ski, Snow, Gun, Fish, Horse, 1 Wheel, 2 wheels, Motors, etc.

Are you saying climbing is a non athletic sport? Or were you just statging some "fact?" By the way, climbing does not USE gravity, it combats the force of gravity - as does high jumping, long jumping, pole vaulting, and while we're at it running.
Breakdancing requires more physical ability than so many of the crappy olympic sports do.
Cross country of course!
wasn't rock climbing in the x games for a while?
Rugby isn't in the Olympics is it?
