womens 1500m is about to start
I just saw a Swedish advert for a soft, environmentally-friendly toilet paper on the webcast. Why can't we have that in the states?

womens 5k just started
3k in 8:41
defar missed the WR by less than 1/2 sec. good run. pace maker went pretty damn far
14:24.85 - that was close!
Defar was just a half off the WR in 14:24.85. She dropped a 30 second last lap, but seemed pretty disappointed. Great run, regardless. Although the track had cones instead of a rail, so probably should not count.

I can totally understand her disappointment because she ran so close to WR in her two last races, yet missed them marginally. I mean she missed the 3k record just by 0.74 and now the 5k record by about 0.5. That's kind of tragic.

This time puts Bob Tahri #2 in the European all-time indoor list. Will be interesting to see if he can transform this into a sub 8 steeple in the summer.
Kaki wins 800 over Borzi-whatever and ends with Mutumbo finger wag as he crossed the finish line.

if you use rough conversion of 101/102 to outdoors, that's 7'29.2 abilty
add 25 - 30s for stix & we are talking 7'54 - 7'59

Actually I'm pretty sure they make their money as professional track athletes, Susanna being one of the fastest indoor hurdlers all-time.
